FS#6963 - Selection effect should be two-sided
When an actor is selected, a blue rotating circular marker appears around it. But when the actor is high above and viewed from below, the maker is invisible: the selection marker should be two sided.
I can confirm this at least.
It's true, especially until items are placed on the ground correctly. Right now in some cases when dropped, the item appears above you and you can't tell if you have it selected or not.
Fixed in r1303.
