I can't log anymore. I updated my system to Debian Jessi, instaled the NVIDIA drivers as ussual, all 3d games runs nice but PS crash after creating the world. I donwload the cllient, reinstalled full linux, played with the config in grafics and is not running.

Linux debianx64 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt9-3~deb8u1 (2015-04-24) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Some logs at:

I am using the same kernel atm and have no issues running PS.

Check if VBO (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=41755.msg471826#msg471826) is enabled in graphics settings, you can try disabling loader cache and background loading.

Feel free to join us on IRC  (http://www.planeshift.it/IRC)if you need more help

The error messages are saying there was a failure to load cached data. Perhaps try deleting those cache files manually and see if that helps?

Hello and Thanks for the help.

I was playing as suggested  with options. The way I can loging and play is lowering shader effects to the lowest option.
I'm using the latest nvidia drivers, but I checked with the old ones as well.
I't a clean install of both the game and the system, and I also tried to clean the cache.

At this moment I don't have much time to go to  IRC, I will try this night to ask about help in there. Thanks Iridia.

Hey, which NVidia card do you have? (model) I ran an older card (geforce 7300?) on Linux and was able to play, but it was a disaster in Hydlaa because the amount of on-board ram was insufficient to support all the textures and shading.  ( Not to mention I only had 1 gig of system ram ) in this case, stripping down the features and using a less bloated desktop was the only way to get it to work.

Nvidia chipsets generation 8 and newer should be fine, generation 6 still works with some reductions. A dedicated card is always preferable over an on-board solution with shared memory.

Be aware that some systems with Core i# processor may unexpectedly select intel IGP for PlaneShift despite having additional Nvidia graphics, in such a case check your OpenGL setup.

the card is a Nvidia 660 gtx, 3 gb of memory. cpu intel q6600 on asrock mb. No integrated graphic card.
The version of drivers are 346.72 Linux 64-bit.
The problem happen mainly in hydlaa, I tested the forest with a friends account and runs properly.
Is just the shaders near harmys forge.
I will try to test it in other place.

More info:
Also depends on resolution, at 4:3 ( 1280x960) the game runs. At 16:10 (1680x1050) the game crash.
