Development Deliberation / build problem of crystal space.

I was following the building guide for linux (debian).
When I arrive to step :
Crystal Space (CS)
Now we can build it and use the configure line to tell it where we installed the cal3d libraries. To do this, use the prefix line that was used for Cal3d above.
$HOME/development/cs$ ./configure --without-java --without-perl --without-python --without-3ds --with-cal3d=$HOME/development/cal3d

The configure process runs and at the end it asks me about a password. Is the code protected and I need to login on some place?

More info:
Also depends on resolution, at 4:3 ( 1280x960) the game runs. At 16:10 (1680x1050) the game crash.

the card is a Nvidia 660 gtx, 3 gb of memory. cpu intel q6600 on asrock mb. No integrated graphic card.
The version of drivers are 346.72 Linux 64-bit.
The problem happen mainly in hydlaa, I tested the forest with a friends account and runs properly.
Is just the shaders near harmys forge.
I will try to test it in other place.

Hello and Thanks for the help.

I was playing as suggested  with options. The way I can loging and play is lowering shader effects to the lowest option.
I'm using the latest nvidia drivers, but I checked with the old ones as well.
I't a clean install of both the game and the system, and I also tried to clean the cache.

At this moment I don't have much time to go to  IRC, I will try this night to ask about help in there. Thanks Iridia.

I just installed UE and I'm watching videos and reading howto's.
I'm new on 3D development, so any guidance will be so helpfull.
May be after a few training I can help on working on this proyect.

I can't log anymore. I updated my system to Debian Jessi, instaled the NVIDIA drivers as ussual, all 3d games runs nice but PS crash after creating the world. I donwload the cllient, reinstalled full linux, played with the config in grafics and is not running.

Guilds Forum / Re: effectively defunct guilds with houses

The last few rounds of auctions were new houses, but I see no problem with reselling a house from a now inactive guild.

When were this auctions? How are they advised?. Our guild players are using some map "holes" to RP it as a guild house and we are waiting for a new auction.

Seems that deleting all the config files, shorcuts and etc in ./planeshift solved the problem.

Yesterday I was harvesting in the forest, and today I can't Join the game. After the ligin screen, when the world is loading the scrren is just crashed, I get this error in console:
