Launcher insta-crash issue (0xc000007b)

Instantly error message whne i click launcher an it says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click okay to close the application"
I have reinstalled four times now and it still does this.. wth is wrong with it?

It might help if you listed your operating system and hardware specs.

I wonder if you are trying to run the 64-bit game version on a 32-bit Windows system... would that be the expectable error message in this case?

MSDN forums gave a hint about re-installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Runtime packages due to a mismatch of 32/64 bit msvc*.dll's.

Its windows 7 and no im running 64 bit.

Then try to re-install both 32-bit and 64-bit MSVC 2010 Runtimes. One of them may have been put into the wrong location.

Running 64-bit PlaneShift on a 32-bit Windows won't work (the error message would probably mention a wrong EXE format); but running 32 and 64 bit PlaneShift on a 64-bit Windows 7 should both work, provided that both versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime packages are correctly installed.
