Bug - Game crash when GUI loads

Hi everyone im new to the community I been trying to get in the game and register on the foum today. its nice to begin the process of meeting all of you and posting this first bug.

The Bug that i have found is a graphics bug of some kind so here is what i know about it so far

tried many different graphics settings and the game crashes only when the shader option is put above very low as long as its on very low the game does not have any issues the moment its put on low or higher the game will instantly crash when logged in and clicked join and the game world loads and it instantly will crash every time.

im not sure what can cause this or if its just my computer though i seriously doubt it.

so im looking to see the following

1. is this a known bug
2. if it is for how long has it been known and is there a fix to it
3. if its not any thoughts on how to fix it so i can test your ideas

We don't know what may most probably be a reason in your case as long as we don't know your hardware (especially graphic chipset) and operating system.

Also, you might still crash a lot but the more you play the better it gets.

I have the same video chip and cpu - only a slightly newer version ( Core i 5 3330 ). Both use Intel HD Graphics - 2000 and 2500 respectively. From what I could find on line so far, the two chips are roughly equivalent. As far as performance goes, I have no problem running the game on mine, so your hardware should most likely be suitable.

I'm not using windows, so I can't say if the game would work equally well on Windows or not.

Have you tried running windows update just to ensure that you have all the latest drivers?

Are you using the 64bit version of the game?
