When I left the game, we'd had 200 on at a time pretty consistently. What happened?

[That's fine, because these events are triggering the return of old villains. Beware.]

Right next to the carving is a mug that you randomly decide to pick up and chug. You find the alcohol beverage refreshing, and it washes away the taste of maggots, dead-man's breath, and your vomit.

Upon leaving the building, your vision becomes blurry, and you begin to stagger. It seems a drug was slipped into the drink!

You fall forward, unconscious.

You awaken in the same location. Nothing seems to have changed around you except for the time of day - it's nighttime now, and when you stand up, you feel a little lighter.

Go back in and examine the area where the tables are

Walking back into the building, you look at the tables to your right. You find that there are various mugs, some empty and some full of exotic drinks, and a few plates of food. One of the tables has something carved into it. Looking closer, you find that it's a carving of a picture of a heart and Brado's name.

Inspect the darkness.

I don't know how to Inspect the darkness.

(and afterwards...)

take note from Brado's mouth

I don't know how to take note from Brado's mouth.

~~

Hint: You're still on a balcony.

Hint: Brado's mouth is empty the last time you looked.

You walk outside and see something you hadn't noticed before when there were buildings clouding your view. A certain distance away from where you're standing, part of Ojaveda is completely gone. I mean, gone. There's no fog, nothing obscuring your vision. It's gone. Where Toda's shop ends, it's as though there's a complete end of reality and a large, empty darkness standing where Ojaveda would normally be.

Simply -having- to explore every inch of this place, you then decide to walk up the stairs. With each step, the wooden boards comprising said stairway creak, and you notice that they're stained red with blood, though it looks like someone tried to clean it up at one point in time. Shrugging it off, because you've already seen a disembodied head hanging from a hook and watched in agony as your companion fell limp to the ground after you yourself kicked it into a wall, you continue up the stairs and reach the room above, where everything looks exactly the same as downstairs. Chairs pulled out from under the tables, drinks and food lining the tables, no one in sight.

Behind you is the stairway
In front of you is the balcony
To your left are the tables

Letting out a girly shriek, you stuff the tongue back in his mouth and run over to the barrel. Before you can even begin inspecting it, you have to lift off the lid and upchuck your digested maggots into it due to the disgusting incidents that have befallen you since waking up. You then look into the barrel and see water mixed with vomit, and you decide it's best to move elsewhere.

In front of you is the door outside
To your left is the stairway upstairs

With a little tugging and pulling, you end up hearing a rip and the sound of churning saliva, and you pull your hand out to find that you're holding a slimy, pink, pointed object.

It's Brado's tongue.

As you are trying to figure out what is lodged in there, you hear loud noises coming form outside.  You hear shouting and many clicks and bangs from what you assume to be armor and weapons.  As you stand there wondering what might be going on, you soon find out, as a militia of armed guards rush into the room and find you standing there with your hand inside a disembodied head.

[Hay! No story hijacking. :P]

With both eyes sealed shut, you reach out your hand and stick it in his mouth. You can definitely make out that your hand is covered in saliva and blood, and after a few seconds, your fingers grasp around what you were looking for. It feels like it's coated in the same saliva and blood, and it's a little squishy. It seems to be stuck.

Drawing out the last few seconds of your kiss, you finally decide to quit fulfilling your fantasy and look inside his mouth to see if you can get a better view of what's in there. You squint and open his mouth as far as it'll go with your hands while the hook sticking through his head, but the lighting of the room isn't bright enough to see what it is.
