Little issues with the new forum theme

The "NEW" button in the list of unread threads and the action buttons in forums (NEW TOPIC / NEW POLL / NOTIFY / MARK READ) have an orange or dark blue transparent image in their "active" state, but on top of a white rectangle, which is in contrast to the dark brown or black backgrounds of the body and tables. That makes white corners peek through the buttons.

Star medals and poll bars are similar: Rendered for use on bright background colors.

Where is the birthdays list gone?! My flowers will wilt...

Yes, got the same problem in Firefox on a Meego handset (login text field was half hidden).

I used to like checking the forums on my ipod, now if some things cant be seen its a bit of a pain.

Bookmark these links and you might be ok. The login link puts the input fields in the middle of the page, the other two are useful to get at new comments, although unread replies seems a bit redundant.

Yes, when I did the upgrade the old theme did not work at all so what I had to do was install a new theme and make it more "PlaneShifty".  However, there are still some artifacts left over from that so will try to clean those up as we find them.

Hmm, I see.   Well, what we can probably try there is putting that information on the left and shifting the logo image over a bit.   I will see how that looks.

For somereason now, every now and again the toolbar/menu bar changes to a bright white and then back once i refreash.

Hm, shame to see the forum skin go nuts like this.
And as it has changed html structure, my userstyle doesnt work right anymore too.

My announcement:
Because i'm doing webdevelopment for a living, I can do this forum template look same way as the planeshift webpage style, compatible with modern browsers, but excluding IE6 and lower
with possible enchancements
and some other layout options not associated with colors

I do need access to the css file tho and interface for uploading images
Otherwise it's too much hassle, so its a call of our forum admins.

Having "Show unread posts since last visit." and "Show new replies to your posts" on the very right became really hardly usable now on a wide monitor. It was much better when they were on the left, closer to all other forum menus.

It ought to be relatively easy to just stick them in the menu bar or just above the location breakdown links:

Remember, manipulating forum styles may not be as easy as it looks, you never know if they break with the next forum software update if you changed them too custom...

From what i see after this softwareupdate, it breaks at every update heheh
