Come one, come all to a 'Celebration Under the Dome!'
This festival is in two weeks. It is a two day, yes two day festival.
Dates: The 18th and 19th of May. (Time of festival and events will be coming soon.)
Where: East Hydlaa for day 1. Explorer's Camp for day 2.
On the first day there will be dancing, storytelling, music and artists selling their wares.
All artist are welcome to set up a kiosk in East Hydlaa. All musicians are welcome to pick
a time to perform on stage, or just play freely at spots around the fest area(feel free to
actually play music, or just RP playing). Storytellers can choose a time also. More on this
as we narrow down the festival time.
There will also be a few special events on day one:
A storytelling relay.
An impromptu storytelling event.
And a raffle.
There will be food and drink to be had as well. (If anyone can help with this, see
Gova, Kyy, or Anysu in game. Or, if you wish you can write a reply to this post).
*************
Day 2 on the 19th is a fishing contest at the Explorer's Camp.
Catch fish for prizes. Tell fish tales. Cook your own fish, or have it cooked for you. (We
need cooks who can do fish dishes for this. Or, the cooking of fish can just be RP'd).
After the fishing contest there will be music, dancing, food, drink and a raffle at
Gugrontid. (Music/dancing at Gug because of lag at Explorer Camp).
If you wish to help or have questions, speak to Gova, Kyy or Anysu in game. Or, write a
reply here. We are still looking for dancers, storytellers and musicians who wish to perform.
Also, if there is a time which works best for you to participate on either day, please post
here. Thank you.

\\o// Hooray! Party time! Get posters put on all the billboards (in game and here in the message board threads)!
Daytimes are an issue as usual; Europeans will prefer a few hours before midnight GMT, Asians rather a few after...
-
I, Waesed, will be playing my lute and will try my hand at fishing.
-
Okay, we have the first day (the artists festival) scheduled to start at 18:00 GMT and run for up to 4 hours. The second day starts at 17:00 GMT to make sure we're done by the time the Dev Q&A starts. More to come soon!

This looks terrific you all- thanks for organizing it!
I have school finals (FINAL FINALS!!! \\o// \\o// \\o//) but will try to attend some part of both days.
I'll also help remind folks IC - thanks for putting all your flyers around town.
As we say in theatre, "break a leg"!

Germans are even more violent: "Hals- und Beinbruch" (break neck and leg). ;)

That is one tough theater scene! :)

I'll be graduating that day ;D Ah well. I'm afraid Evirea won't be able to tell the stories she promised. Have fun!
-
I'm on holiday during that weekend, so won't be able to attend as well. :(
-
We are planning to have some raffles. Most for everyone, some just for the artists who perform. No alts are allowed for the raffles! We're also going to be checking to make sure nobody has any fish before the fishing contests, so no funny business there either. ;)

Hmm... a black market for fish...

The bug with the Ide fish not fishable and the bug that makes it impossible to combine the final step of the Perch recipe is fixed as well (at the next server reboot) so everything should be in place in time for the celebration.
Enjoy the celebration

I missed today's part, but perhaps I can make tomorrow's festivities if I can manage waking up in time. Here's hoping!
-
Now there is only the bug left that one can't hold fish in hands. Hey, they are not too slippery...
-
Enjoyed yesterday's event in Hydlaa. The museum was very generous in prizes awarded for participating!
Could not make the OutPost contest today, unfortunately.
Kudos to the organizers!

Thanks for the event! It was certainly a lot of work for the organizers and I enjoyed it on both days.
