Tempt Me So
How can one scorch me so
With toussled hair
And coy glance?
How can one raze me so
Through natural flare
And swaggish stance?
Because I let them.
Why must they tease me so
When cheeks blush
And eyes slant?
Why must they touch me so
Against muttered hush
And sweet pant?
Because I want them.
When shall he caress me so
With hot lips
And stubbly chin?
When shall he tempt me so
To over-eclipse
And sear within?
Because I need him.
