Let me hide away
(I cannot run)
In your arms;
(Am I fast enough?)
The world is too large
(Save me)
For one so small.
Cut & bleeding...
Let me hide away
(I cannot hide)
Within your gaze;
(Am I devious enough?)
I\'ve grown weary
(Help me)
Due to misadventures.
Blinded & afraid...
Let me hide away
(I cannot flee)
Near your bed;
(Am I agile enough?)
I wish to be unknown
(Lift me)
For but a while.
Not ready & unable...
Let me hide away
(I cannot escape)
Beneath your lips;
(Am I clever enough?)
Bring me through mists
(Keep me)
And flights of fancy.
Just let me.
