General Discussion / Hunters & Looting

Hello

I've spent some time in the last past day, looting mobs, and I now understand why everyone is learning now differents crafting, We don't have anymore full hunters/warriors... the reason is very simple, you can pay your training with your loots. Exception maybe for the Maulbernaut's slayers that can sell the hide to leather workers.
I can understand that at some point loot were to easy to get (Helms from Onyx for example) but I wonder why in PS it's alway ON or OFF... I've spend 8-10 hours in the last past days and didnt loot any good... some Crapy one named weapons, very few 2 named and no 3 named...

Actually with 40 players online we have 15 armor makers, 10 Herbalists/alchemists, 8 cooks cuz its the best way to get PPS
and 10 Enchanters cuz its the only decent way to train Magic...

I would just want to know if it's a bug (something went wrong in the formula) or a real Aim for the team to remove Hunters/looters from PS ?

Adding the mods on the weapons was a great add but if you make them impossible to loot where is the point ?

Overall PS has been greatly improved... If this point could be a bit more balanced it would be very good for everyone...

The Hydlaa's Museum will holding a crafting contest [on saturday 10 september]

We ask all crafters that want to participate to show us their best works...
We will choose one of each kind of weapons, Shields & Helms hand crafted
and display them in the museum... (which will opening the saturday 17 september..)

[allcrafted items must have his name, description and crafter name written in a book, the best one for each kind will be added under the weapon description]

Let me first introduce myself:
I'm Mesrin, curator of the Hydlaa's museum,

We (the Hydlaa's Museum workers) are proud to announce that the Project we are working on for months,
The Hydlaa's Museum is now close to be opened
We bought an house in East Hydlaa and made a lot of work inside in order to make it as new as possible.
this step is now finished and we are now collecting the rarest weapons, Shield & Armor parts that we can find in Yliakum
in order to show them to museum's visitors.

The museum can buy some of the rarest weapons you would want to sell, We will also accept donation from you

But in case you got some very rare pieces you do not want to sell/give away... we can just show them in our museum and you will stay the owner
in that case your name will be written in the weapon description as Owner or Donor

for any info or purpose just send a goffrel to Mesrin

I play ps every days for 2 years and half... but the last GM event i was in was one year ago maybe more !
and I was morphed in clackers nothing extraodinary like the Xmass event you did last night !

You dont want to sell us house cheaper but you gave gifts like house or you maxed two magical ways !
- as i remember i never had house for Xmass
and what is maxing skills if not spoiling... and its unfair for the one who maxed themself their skills...

My questions are :

Why GM event are everytime in USA timezone ?
Is Xmass only for americans ?

Survivor Party

Between the 26th and the 31th december 2008

Needed => 8, 16 or 32 fighters

Inscription 20.000 trias
End of inscription on december 23th

The Winner win 75% of the total collected

Here are the rules :

- on Oja road 1 & 2 only

- 4 fighters
each ones in challenge with the 3 others

- 6 arbitres
4 near the loading map 2 in Oja road 1 and 2 in Oja road 2
2 free to move everywhere

- The fighters are starting in 4 different places

- Then they will have to find the 3 others fighters and defeated them

- The winner will fight the winner of another party, until only one hunter left
- The last hunter standing, Wins !!

- No kill by the loading map

- No magic allowed

- No potions allowed

- Ring of past not allowed

AFTERMATH !

During a battle that threatened to consume the upper levels of Yliakum, a force arose with one intent: To restore order. This amy of peace called the Warrior Militia fought bravely, but found in the end that surrender was the only way to restore peace to their beloved dome.

With Militia now disbanded, the bond created between warriors in battle is impossible to destroy. Those that fight together as well as against each other find this bond compelling.

Now the time has come to celebrate this small victory, of the Kinship that was built, and the desire for more.

Pax Amor guild will be hosting a championship for all who wish to participate. Since this is a time to celebrate as well, all our former and current allies and enemies are invited ! All kin we gained, and all who wish to battle the best of Yliakum's upper level.

THE RULES :

All weapons are allowed
[but not axe users with lvl over current max level 100]

No magic allowed

No potions allowed

The fighters will fight against each other in a two round challenge

   2 rounds won = Victory = 3 points
   1 round and one defeat = Egality = 1 point
  2 rounds lost = Lose = 0 point

In case of 2 finalist obtaining the same points, they will fight a final duel Challenge to decide the first

Fights will not be bound in a designated location.
Fighters can fight at any given time, anywhere fighting is legal .
They just need to call and wait for a Official arbitrator before start fighting

List of Official Arbritators,

Arbitrators will send us results daily.[Ingame or via a form on our site]

All fights without arbitrator will not count

This is a friendly-not-kill championship, the one who kills opponent will be expelled from the competition

We will start to count points on November 29th for one week ore more (max two weeks)

The last 10% will be shared between the arbritators who spend their time for your fun (50K)

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / I loose 50% of my Spells

I loose 50% of my spell last night !
I got them yesterday and today they are not more in my spells book !
now I dropped all my glyph and purified them again !
tempory fix for single spells but the combined ones still doesn't work I can research them but i can found them anymore !

Anyway thanks Atken and Xillix for your help !
