PlaneShift won't support PhysX Ragdoll effects soon (Bug 2848 was obviously too decent to get noticed at all).

Full ragdoll physics take quite a bit of work, but it isn't completely beyond reason to see improved physics in the future given that the new version of Crystal Space supports Bullet.
