Well, I left the community soon after the release of Crystal Blue because my computer couldn\'t handle the game. But I missed you guys so much I\'ve come back, and here to stay. So, without further ado, I present you the less n00bish, the cooler -

KougrA: Go to start, find, files or folders... in the dropdown menu select the drive you sent Planeshift to, and in where you put the name write planeshift.cfg . Right click on the file that comes up and select \"open with\". Then in the list, select \"WORDPAD\". Wordpad should pop up, and a bunch of information in it. Near the start there should be a line saying \"Planeshift.Connection.User = youremail2yourhost.com. Change the \'2\' into an \'@\' symbol, save the document, run Planeshift and voila!

Well Jenqui, it\'s not as easy to get started as you think it is. I\'ve gotten around 30 errors all day, and have been troubleshooting it for 7 hours. I got the first two problems fixed in the first 5 hours, but now I\'m stumped. Well, welcome to the forum and I hope you have better luck than me :)!

EDIT: Well, it\'s 9:00 on Christmas Eve so I\'m going to quit this and maybe get at it tomorrow after I get bored of all my presents :)

Well, that didn\'t help at all. My Operating System is Win98, I have IE 6, 600MHz. All help is appreciated.

Start->Find->Files or Folders->Then search planeshift.cfg in the directory you installed PlaneShift in. Write click on the file that pops up, click \"open with...\", and choose WORDPAD. On the line where it says Planeshift.Connection.User = \"youremail2yourhost.com\", replace the \'2\' with an \'@\' symbol, save it, open PS, type in your password and voila!

Hello. I would like to report this problem; I log into the server, but when I get to the menu, my computer freezes and I have to restart it. Could any of you help me out?

Ok, I figured it out now, but now when I try to put down an \'@\' it puts down a \'2\', and I tried my char name but it wouldn\'t work.

I fill in my email address, and when I press ok a message pops up saying

I click no and then it goes

I tried to log in to CB several times, and when I went to the server site it said the server was offline. Is this correct? If it is, why is it offline?
