Post by: Battle-Master on January 08, 2002, 08:55:11 pm
Wouldn\'t it be cool if that once you reached have really high stats and skills, that you would be able to telaport to diffrent locations??

I dunno if you guys think that thats a good idea but I think it would be really cool.

Teleporting will most likely be added as a Magic skill, For high lvled Mages. Or unless they have some other ways to transport from place to place :D

i think teleporting should be available to more than jsut mages because then warriors might have to start magic just so they can teleport

Perhaps warriors could have ancient chants to the gods to teleport and rogues could metamorph into an arrow or somethin...

Maybe for non-mages there could be tokens or scrolls to be used for teleportation.  To use one of these, one\'s read languages skill would need to be adequate.

For instance, teleporting across the same level would not be too difficult to use, but ones to other levels would be much harder to read.  They would also be expensive.

But what price to pay for convenience?

I think that high level mages could take an empty scroll and enchant it with a teleportation spell (or any other spell for that matter) and then sell the scroll for money!
A good way of income for us poor Mages. :)

well since there is no warrior or mage, and only fighting and spell casting skills, anyone that wants to, will have this ability. all depends on what \'way\' you want to go.

Ok,... ok,... then \"us who will use the spell casting skill\" instead of mages everywhere in my post,... are you happy NOW??? :P :))

It is just SOOOO much easier to say \"mage\" or \"wizard\" or so on,...
