Title: Pets are bugged

Many people's pets are bugged including mine.

I heard if you summoned your pet when NPC is down, your pet will be bugged.

So it would be nice to delete all pet characters. This way no one will lose anything, people just need to get the ring and re-summon the pet.

I think this would be easy to do for the devs. And many of us will be very happy. Oh I love pets...

But if it is deleted then you can't train them (when pet training is established). And they work perfectly fine when npc is up even if you summoned them when it was down. Its just that commands don't work when it is down.

Thanks for the clarification. So that all pets are equal and there's no pet that is more bugged than others?

Mine dont walked, no matter if the NPCs are down or not...  Maybe is too old or something

unless it was changed in some update some time that i'm not aware about, one of my older characters was one of the first ones to get a pet when they were first released.  it bugged out a few months later and somehow my pet became a menki.  I'd put him in the tavern just to liven the place up a bit while I went off to do other things.  then they put in a rule that made the pet disappear after a short amount of time, so I stopped since it wasn't worth the bother.

xemmas, maybe you do not have enough empathy skill or your charisma is too low. You can always train empathy with a succession of "/pet stay" commands.

1) bugged npc because created with npc client down are automatically repaired
2) if your pet doesn't answer to /follow then poke me and i will check if the pet master is you and not some other random number. It seems some pets created in 0.3.x have this issue.
3) if the pet doesn't attack wait next npcclient reboot if it still doesn't ask me although all should be fixed as far as i see

Actually my empathy is almost 30, so i ruled that out!  ;D
