Millions of people die every year. Obviously you don't care about any of them, Ironstark. Thank you, Thom, my point exactly. Don't let the media manipulate you into making money for various corporations. Don't be afraid just because someone tells you you should be, or attempts to guilt you into a viewpoint that is not rational.

Indeed. Where are the "Death by smoking! It will kill someone you know!!" or "Car crash tragedies!!" or "Cancer, hunger, and disease other than the Swine Flu are sweeping the globe as we speak! No one will escape!" or the final "Old age claims yet another victim, even in USA!! Is someone you know next?" threads?

Sure, you can care about the people can die, but if you think about every one of them, you will not have time to do much else. It is not 'hollow'. It is common sense.

Why has this thread died? the UK government today gave up controlling the spread of H1N1 and have predicted 100,000 new cases per day by august.
