newbie: activation code for jctobin.... I never got an email

Dearest:
I registered as jctobin@ptd.net.
I made a character.
I went back to get some information on the forums.
I can't get in.
I can log into the game, but I get no activation emails, so I can't touch the forums.
[so how am I in here now?] I have created a second id on a different email. that email addresse gets the planeshift email.
But FYI: I don't get anything on ptd.net.
I am currently checking on their port restrictions. will get back to you.
Wondered if you could ping them. I would rather not have to take a half hour and build another character.

It is an assumption that any updates on this thread will go to jtobin@po-box.esu.edu.
is there anyway to copy jctobin@ptd.net?

wait... you can play the game and you can use the forums, just with two separate email accounts?

...why not just register under the email you used to access the forums as the email you use to create an account...

if you are able to go through character creation, then you are able to play the game, right?
if you were able to start this thread, then you are able to post to the forums, right?

so i fail to see the problem. There is no rule stating that the email account you use for the forum has to be the same one you use for the game. In fact, I have characters under three different accounts in game.

If you want to change the email address for this forum account from jtobin@po-box.esu.edu to jctobin@ptd.net :

Select "Profile" - "Account Settings" and change the email address there.
