I just don't play as Cebot anymore (get him out from time to time, but not as much as I used to). I have other chars I play more often though. Anine has probably really quit, haven't seen him in ages. As far as I know Roahn pops in every now and then too, to check back on PS, but as far as I know he doesn't really play anymore either. Dunno about Jeanine and Indy, but Jangeol pops on IRC every now and then. Valorius, as far as I know, went to regnum, but quit there too. It's beyond my knowledge as to where she hides her fenki butt now

Good job so far, but I have to agree with caarrie, PS uses SVN now, therefore you should read the compiling guide and adjust your README and make sure your patch is compatible with the latest stable svn branch.
As for the not allowed part. I think since this patch is to help users to solve the brightness issue, Talad and Acraig won't have anything against it, however, you should make sure that they are OK with it by asking them on IRC or by PM or email.
I would also post that patch on the bugtracker as feature request with "patch included" and see if Talad approves it, if it gets approved it can be merged into the official source. Heck, thats a very useful patch, imho, really good job!

Some people asked me to post a picture of me wearing my suit...
Well, it's not from the prom, as promised. It was taken on Putbus, Rügen, Germany after an interview at the IT-College in Putbus.
Behind me is a monument which was, as far as I know, built by Fürst Malte zu Putbus (Lord/Prince Malte). It reads "Was des Volkes Hände schaffen ist des Volkes Eigen" (free translation: what the peoples hands made belongs to the people)

Hi,
I'm gonna do a "weiterbildung" (further education?) and have to move out of here. However, the city where I'm gonna move to is on Rügen, hardly any flats around there, only small holiday appartments. -the one I'm probably going to rent offers me to use the shared DSL line from the renter, vie wlan, but they ask 20 euros a month for that...definitely too much for a shared line IMHO.
Thats why I'm playing with the idea to get an umts pcmci card for my laptop...but there's a jungle of tarifs and options and I'm kind of lost in this jungle.
Has anyone an experiences with this and can cive hints and/or advice me which provider/tarif to use or better not to use?
Any information is helpful, thanks in advancement,
