things to do to amuse yourself
« on: February 13, 2004, 12:13:09 pm »
hi there

having recently discovered that you can give a crystal to someone by typing:

/buddy [recipients name] ruby (or whatevr u wanna give)

i have come up with some amusing pastimes

1. Gambling with dice

agree a pot size (say 1 ruby)
agree on dice settings

player A rolls dice
player B rolls same dice

whoever gets the higher number wins the pot value from the other player

2. hide + seek

Player A hides somewhere then /shouts clues for others to find him

1st player to greet player A recieves a prize

3. Races

a number of players gather together, agree a finnishing point + race to it.... 1st person there wins an agreed amount from other players

(this also rewards players who have explored and found the quickest routes)

4. riddle contest

Player A shouts a riddle

1st player to shout the answer wins a prize from player A

anyways im sure u guys can come up with a few more..should be fun + help to spread the wealth a little

Then of course there\'s a good old fashioned game of Assasins... :]

When I\'m in the server, I regularly play such games, usually giving a few emeralds or diamonds away to the winners. I like hide+seek best, \'cause I know all the little hard-to-reach places and inaccessable areas. :)

So, if you see a Moogie online, stick around... it might be profitable! :D

Hmm... i think these games must be biased by the amount of lag. I still have so much that i can\'t play at all ;(

Next time he starts a game from now on, I\'m giving away crystals to the winners ;) Been planning this for a while, but wanted to get a second sabre first. With a second sabre, my life is complete.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Storytelling can also be a good cash winning game,

The best storyteller wins the cash,

I think you should make this one of your games in AGES deddarus :)

The internet is "the terrorists'" most important weapon, they say.
Wrong.
Fear is their most important weapon.

i may well do dark.... but i\'d need to come up with a list of \'features\' to make the story good... otherwise its just my personal preference... + ppl who loose aint gonna like it

i could also form a panel of judges... but i need more guild members 1st :P

Well...I already know how to amuse myself but it isn\'t forum board appropriate. I am sure that I am not the only one :)
