I have heard that the developers do not have a Mac to do testing on.
Why don't we do a fund raiser so they can buy a new tricked-out Mac Mini from Apple?
If we all contribute just a little bit, they could have a shiny new Mac to play on!
Woot! \\o//
What say you?

As far as i know, there is quite much unused donation moneys, so broblem isnt that. If you ment that someone independent collects the money to buy mac, i think it has few broblems.

There might be a few practical issues. Assuming you buy a mac for 1 dev, how long will that dev stay with this game? On average a year or so, so then you'd need to get that dev to send the mac by postal services to another dev around the world. And that is just one of probably a few practical issues. So while I quite like the idea, it's a little bit of a challenge to actually do this.
So practically it might be better to wait for a mac user with some development skills to show up. That being said, maybe Talad believes differently. :)

It's cheaper and faster to teach me how to build the server and client. Well, probably not faster, but cheaper nevertheless.

They can go to ebay and buy their own used macs. :/

even granny v can build the server and client... but that doesn't mean much. i can build them too, and i crash and panic compilers with the hello world code.
