Hey everyone!
I'm not really tech savvy , so I hope I can get some help without entering too much in the details of the issues.
I've been trying to install PS on my mac (Os Sierra) , with little to none success so far. Once I download the file and launch pslaunch, it just crashes. Same goes for psclient.
On the other hand, if I launch the psclient_static exec file, the game launch, but doesn't update.
Is there a way around this issue?
Thanks in advance!

See if anything here helps.

- Open the folder containing your PlaneShift installation, and a shell window (in Utilities -> Terminal)
- Right click on psclient, show package contents
- Navigate through contents, MacOS, and locate psclient_static
- Drag and drop the psclient_static to the Terminal shell you opened
Please report back and do tell us if it worked or not! It's the method I use, and I sure am happy with how it goes. You can even pin the application to the Dock.

Thank you very much for your replies!
Launching the psclient_static with the terminal did the trick! Is it alright if it doesn't go through the update process?

You don't need to worry about it. If pslaunch doesn't launch (heh) either, you can do the same steps, if you want to check for updates. Cheers.

I would very much recommend using the pslaunch program as it will update the client art. Without which you will miss out on many recent additions which will manifest as bugs.
