Hi everyone, this area of the forum is for the discussion of bugs that seem peculiar to the Mac OS X port of Planeshift.  

Things this forum is not for:
- Discussion of Macs in general.
- Platform comparison (except as relating to bugs which appear on one platform and not on another)
- Questions about character creation, help inside the game, guilds, etc.  There are other areas of the forum for that!

When you observe something is wrong, there are two broad categories that the problem falls into: Mac-specific and Non-Mac-Specific.  Non-mac-specific problems would be things like:
Falling through a crack in the map, quests not working, items disappearing.  If your problem is anything like these, look at the other parts of the forum to see if the problem is already being discussed.

If you experience a crash on startup which has not been covered by previous discussion, post in this forum.  Also, problems with the mac updater should probably get mentioned here, or things that work for everyone except Mac users.

In the next few days I hope to collect other information here relating to the Mac port!

Please keep in mind if you make a post here and it is a general ps issue like my char cant walk far, or such and such quest is not working for me, your post will be MOVED to the appropriate board, so if you see your thread missing and it falls in this category it should still be around but in another board. If you are posting duplicate threads on topics we have discussed already, consider yourself warned that your thread will be deleted without warning.

All posts made before January 1 2008 have been locked to keep from bumping old threads. If you make a post on a thread that is similar to your issue, there is a pretty good chance it will be split from the old thread, Also if you post to another thread that is similar and _has_ the fix to your issue, your post may be deleted from that thread due to it being redundant. We are trying to keep this board informative and not full of duplicate issues and threads that dont give much help to those looking for it.
