HELP Client does crash after updater

Hello,
after having many problems with this new Version 4.01 I have heard to others and ran the updater, it was a new updater. which caarie me said. Now my client begins to start and when he wants to load the world, he crashes.
Is this the end of PS for me?
Please tell me what I must do now for playing again. I don´t know about working with terminal.

I use a mac G4 PPC 10.4.11 Tiger, 2GB RAM, ATI 9600 Pro 256MB

Hello, Carrie,
First I don`t have the graficcard which is written there-
Second: I do not find the "Video Open GL things what is written there.
I have made the "vertex buffer"thing to false.

But my client doesn´t open. After the !Loading world" it crashes.


I am now since 10 months in PS. But such problems, which I have with the 4.01 Version I never had before.

I hope I can play anymore PS.

Or must I leave PS, because I dont`t have a Windows Computer?

it was an idea for you to try anyway as it may help. also in pssetup set texture downsampling to 1/2 or further to the right and see if that helps any.

Just did so in pssetup,
Nothings happens: during Loading world it crashes.

 now I deinstall this PS,
I have downloaded from Xordan again, then I try to install, but I am afraid to run the updater.

Hi, Caarrie,
Now I deinstalled PS, downloaded new and reinstalled. But not run the updater. Now I can play. And when I get "Received out of bouns" I wait until next day, then I can continue. I will wait for the next version, perhaps they will make off this bug.

But, why they make a new version with so many bugs.

It will make that a player looses the fun to play PS.

It is called progress, we need time to find and fix bugs remember planeshift is not a fully complete game.
