(OSX)ATI Radeon X-1600
« on: May 30, 2009, 11:29:45 am »
I have an ATI Radeon X-1600 graphic card, and I have the problem that every X-1600 has.
First of all, I  did read the README file, I know how to fix this problem, I went to /library/aplication suport/Planeshift but there's no psclient.cfg

"If this file does not exist, then just create one containing this line.Save the file (be sure the file is saved as text only)."

How do I create a .cfg file?

I know this may be a noobish question but I have no god damn clue.

Thanks in advance.

That file can be created using /Applications/TextEdit. The actual location should be /Users/[account]/Library/Application Support/Planeshift. Look there first. If you do use TextEdit to create a new file, be sure to use menu command Format => Make Plain Text before you save it, otherwise it will save an RTF file which won't work.

Please try downloading and running http://www.planeshift.caarrie.org/Fix%20PS.zip and applying the fix for the ATi x1600 and Texture Compression.

(We also have a whole Mac section that would be good to take a look at)

Thanks, I'm trying both. :)

I downloaded Fix PS, it worked.

Thanks a lot  :D
