PS time (script)
« on: January 28, 2013, 02:08:40 am »
Is there more info on how the PS time is calculated (like some sort of reference to actual time)?
And is there a way to display the PS time on a website (with some script in sync with the PS server)?

Yes, there are already several sources. The daytime starts when the game server booted and progresses several times as fast as the real day (I believe to remember that 1 day in real life has 6 day cycles in the game); but the calendar date does not progress as fast, instead it is just one day per day. The calendar of days and months is documented in the PSWiki. There is always the same year in game (750 A.Y.) as long as the settings about the time progress are not final.

There are already websites where you can calculate between in-character dates and real-life dates, to plan in-game events with in-game dates matching real-life times, e.g. search the forum for "rulascripts". But the in-game time is not published on the game server website.
