I have been wondering what people use nowadays? IRC is still my main platform and lots of people are using lots of other things so i wonder what the PS communit Uses.  ???

Anyways I am not aware of any Matrix or discord Planeshift place.

Discord is the go-to chat platform these days.

Planeshift's IRC is haunted. The people there aren't actually alive. Just Staff and a group of AIs uploaded and coded from the dying consciousnesses of oldbies.

Wrong, there is actually conversation albeit not as actively as i would like to. But i do understand that not everyone has a vps and a client running 24/7 so it might be harder for some to use.

Idk...I generally care more about the group and topic than the platform. As for the platform, i think i like irc the most, but haven't been on in some time. Kinda lost interest in what most folks have to say.

Tried fb for a while, but as a platform, it sucks. Too much incentive for trolling and shitposting.

Ychat was nice back when they had groups. Not sure if they still do that or not.
