Wish list / Re: Item movement ergonomics

I'm sure there's probably a way to make it easier, but if you equate with making more ore than getting tired, yeah it should be easier to make; something they've probably taken a look at.

I've always been wondering what the anti-magic skill is about?  Has there been occurrence of how this will be implemented?

Well there'd have to be a balance between "what's feasible" or "what's practical," I guess it's really what can be better accomplished.

I\'m having trouble deciding on my education

Currently at the age of 19, should I continue in get my Bachelor\'s of Science Degree in Business Administration with an Option in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business Computer Programming at the California State Polytechnic University of Pomona?

or

Should I get to Devry/ITT, and get a 4-year degree in less than 3.

The thing is, I\'m still working on my lower division transfer, because I got kicked out of Cal Poly Pomona (although I am still on their roster) because i didn\'t send my damn SAT Scores in time, which isn\'t the point...point is, it will take me another 3 semesters to transfer, then maybe 2 years at least to get my bachelor\'s degree, and which then I\'ll want to get my masters in business administration (M.B.A). TIME is the big issue; however, it does sound better to get a 4-degree at a respected University, if I ever want to get a chance to work with computers at a corporate executive level, and boss you guys around when you guys are in the IT department. :)
Any ideas, how about you guys, what are you guys pursuing?

The Hydlaa Plaza / questions about my PCI-E Slot.
« on: November 19, 2005, 05:21:18 pm »
To whom may ever assist,

I bought an HP a1210n Computer about a month ago, and I\'ve decided that this would be the best time to upgrade my video card. Currently, I\'ve been running all my applications on the onboard ATI Radeon Xpress200, it kept me going; however, it didn\'t last for long.

So I finally opened up my computer case, and looked for the PCI-E slot so I could put my potentially new video card in there. Therefore, I looked inside to find out what kind of PCI-E slot I have. This is where it gets tricky for my comprehension, I looked and it reads PCIEX1 next to the slot; however, the slot was much lengthier than an PCIEX1 slot, so I contacted HP through an online chat and support session, I asked them about this situation, they said I have a PCI-Extender. Morever, they also stated that a PCIX16 Video Card would be compatible.

My questions are:
Main Question - What is the PCI-Extender Technology?
Tertiary Question - Should I have to worry about a PCIEX16 Card going in, even though it says PCIEX1, but HP says it\'s still compatible?

This may be of some use: (After clicking, if you keep scrolling down, it will show you a layout of the motherboard I have). Motherboard Specifications <- Click that link.

Thank you for taking the time to read this,

Hey people, can\'t afford to buy Microsoft Office?

Try heading over to this site for a free open source Office Suite...

http://www.openoffice.org

It\'s perfectly legit, and very professional.

The suite comes with:

Presentation Program (Powerpoint equivalent)
Mathematical Function Creator
Vector Drawing Tool (Photo Editing Equivalent)

Newbie Help (Start Here) /

It doesn\'t continue for me, unless it is and somehow I\'m missing it.  It starts from zero if I start again.  But I did notice that the total overall MB changed from 64 to 42.38, does that mean I downloaded 20MB already, and it\'s resuming from there?

We\'ll honestly, I think it would be better to have the update as an .exe.  I don\'t have the patience of waiting hours upon hours of updating, as neither do others I assume.  Waiting 6 hours for 36% isn\'t right...

14
What\'s the difference between the Updater and Updater (Recover Mode)?

Also, Talad said of a way to resume updates, so incase you have to stop the update, you can resume it later, how can this feature be accessed? I\'m starting from a fresh download .exe for Windows.

Wish list / Downloadable executable Updates for 56k Users
« on: October 28, 2005, 04:36:13 pm »
56k users should have the option of having a .exe file for updating the game, rather than having the updater.  Quite frankly, it\'s too slow (for 56k users I mean).  If there was an option of having a .exe file we could download from a faster location with broadband like at school, or at a friends house.  However, you said something about putting the updates on a ftp server on the main news?  I\'m a bit unclear about that...
