Well, would using \"flat\" animated pixie-characters (ALA Final Fantasy Tactics ALA Jet Set Radio) -- which would also give any artists we have here a chance to flex their creativity, would that help in processing speed for them?

I mean -- if you take the 3-D out of the characters and monsters, leaving only 2-D animations, aside from flags and stuff, or maybe even just removing the 3-D out of every non-static picture... first of all if its done right it can look wicked, if dated -- but this is a free game and we can\'t expect people to need a huge high end super computer to play it anyway -- so if the graphics aren\'t the best on earth, no one can really complain.  But like I said if its done right it can look wicked.

Im just not sure of that would actually help.

And if I sound like a moron, feel free to tell me all about it.

*i am kidding* actually, i enjoyed that site. and im not sucking up, i know it looks like a warped 10 year old drew them.  (And what IS his boss holding watching that movie?...ahem...) but he had fun making them, and it shows through it and makes the stuff... i dunno... glow.  *I am one of those modern spiritual hippies who likes to see auras with everything.*

yeah, any role.  But none of this SWITCHING roles to play stupid mind games with people.  Certain unnamed cretins seem to make a hobby out of telling stories and supporting their stories with other characters played by them: only they never tell you its a story (AKA they are lying through their teeth) and they end up trying to get you involved in endless reams of stupidity.

So if I lied on this forum, for instance, and said I was female -- that would be Ok with everyone? Even if I convinced someone through PM\'s to meet me somewhere, etc?  Its the same principle in game, but now, I suppose, after having drank some coffee (I wrote my first reply at like, 1:00 in the morning or something like that) it would be better to maybe tie the ACCOUNT to your gender, instead of the character, since some people (ahem no names here [grin]) want to play a role where they get to look at their characters opposite gender posterier all the time.  :rolleyes:

I still think they should tie your character gender to your real gender, but I doubt the idea will be very popular.  Say, when and if they register the game... thats when the gender choice is made.
