PvP,PK and Thieving / PvP to result in a more realistic setting.

To this day I have only come across two different types of general PvP.  One is a server dedicated to pvp while the other servers are mainly pve, although I very much dislike this idea because it leads to constant pking and the like on the pvp server.  On the other hand is full pvp all the time on every server, save a few safe areas such as npc cities.  The latter of these two choices is by far my preference.  Although it would appear at first glance that this would lead to constant pvp without relief but due to the fact that it\'s always available people tend not to resort to the random player killing as they do on a designated pvp server.

That\'s all I have to say for now, perhapes this post will get some other opinions going.

After some time wading through the mess of MMORPGs out there today I\'ve finally found myself back at PlaneShift.  Some of you might remember me, most of you will not.  Hopefully I will be sticking around longer than I did last time, at least until CB is released.

General Discussion / Greetings once again

Greetings all,

After yet another somewhat long leave of absence I return!  Hopefully anyhow  :P  .  I\'ve become ever so bored of Shadowbane and Star Wars Galaxies so most likely I will be posting frequently again.  So I hope to speak with everyone soon.

Alright alright, I have only found one thing wrong with PS so far.  The Stonebreaker and Hammerwielder females do not have beards!?  How can this be so?

Wish list / Guild sieges

I believe it was probably brought up in an earlier thread but I\'ll revive it anyhow.

It would appear that guild halls are a sure thing, if they are going to be then how can you not be able to lay siege to each others guild halls.  And of course, no assualt would be complete without siege engines, trebuchets, catapults, ballistas, and so forth.  Unfortunately I\'m sure this is not high priority on the developing teams list of to do\'s.  But perhapes we can at least have a good discussion about it.

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Problems

It seems I\'m having a bit of a problem, while I can manage to get to the load screen, it stops at \"Initializing world\"  I have let it sit for numerous hours to see if was like some have said and merely takes a while.  In the debug file it shows the error \"cel.persist.classic: Property class \'pcregion\' for entity with id \'100\' failed to load!\" Also there are some errors stated in the psclient.txt file \"WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.motion.manager.default\'
WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.sound.loader.aiff\'
WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.sound.loader.au\'
WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.sound.loader.iff\'

I\'m currently running p3 800 mhz, 512 mb ram, 32 mb geforce2 (ya ya, need ta upgrade that), and windows 98 if it helps at all.

I know I already posted the first error but I thought I\'d post it again incase you forgot Venge :D

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Error while logging in.

Hail fellow wanderers,

I seemed to have experienced a slight problem while attempting to login.  I can get as far as \"Initializing World\" but then it stops.  Don\'t worry I\'m not asking about that.  I looked at the Debug file and found this little interesting line. \"cel.persist.classic: Property class \'pcregion\' for entity with id \'100\' failed to load!\"  That is the direct quotation from the debug file save the quotes.  I\'ve tried numerous alterations to settings and what not but to no avail.  So if anyone has any suggestions it\'d be much appreciated.
