...and out of the shadows of the past stepped Ravenmaster, his black cloak billowing rapidly in the unnatural wind that perpetually surrounded him.

From beneath his hooded cloak, a voice like a chill wind spoke, \"I have returned.\"

Zahtek, seeing Rantal\'s immidiate danger, kicked the demon he was fighting in the chest and rushed to help his newist comrade.   He easily mowed down to demons during his charge.  As he rushed up behind one of the two demons approaching Rantal, he felt a searing pain in his left shoulder and fell forcefully to the ground.  He looked up in time to see the demonlord whose sword he had stolen, weilding a two-pronged spear.  The demon grabbed Zahtek by the neck and lifted him into the air.  Zahtek swung his sword at the demon\'s throat, but the it was deflected by the two-pronged spear.  The demon threw Zahtek into the air and caught him through the stomach with the spear on the way down.

One of the demons approaching Rantal was deterred by a pack of raccoons, and as the second one neared, he was knocked unconcious by mad swing of Rantal\'s club.  However, the demons only seemed to be increasing.  Suddenly, from above a high-pitched screech was heard.  There was a blinding flash of light, and an explosion.  A mob of demons flew into the air in pieces.  A giant winged reptile and its rider landed on the ground.  Some demons actually fled, but all were noticably afraid.

As various members of the party situated themselves and looked about nervously, Zahtek jumped off his horse, grabbed his sword in his right hand and his horse\'s reigns in his left and ran towards the wall of the fort, yelling, \"We may as well get as defended as possible!\"  He turned around to see what the others were doing and screamed, \"Kinoss, get down.\"  He threw his demonsword through the torso of the first attacking demon.  The corpse fell on top of Kinoss, knocking him off his horse. A second demon screeched as a pack of raccoons pounced on it where it hid in the grass.  \"Where are they coming from?!\" Zahtek yelled, running to retrieve his sword from the fallen demon.  Before he could make it a third demon leaped from below him.  He punched it in the face, but immediately two more tackled him.  A moment later, about thirty demons popped up from the grass surrounding the party.  The fight was on.

I was thinking them animuels was jus raccoons an owls an bats an stuff.  I don\'t really know what sorts of nocturnal animals there are.  Nothing special. Oh, and of course, lots of ravens.  Well, I just got lucky and encountered a computer.  I\'ll try as often as I can, but I know that in a couple weeks I\'ll be gone for at least two months without a computer.  Of course, when school restarts I\'ll be here all the time again.  If Trefalgr\'s Secret falls into the dust, I promise I\'ll ressurect it later.

Well, that was nice.  Sorry I used your character, Aruneko.  This doesn\'t mean I\'m back, however. I just happened by and decided to post.  Please no one use Ravenmaster.  Unless I come back sometime during this battle, assume he just vanished or he\'s still fighting somewhere else. I guess you could refer to seeing him fight somewhere, but don\'t make him do anything.

After a little less than half an hour the party spot the fort in the distance.  As they approach the fort a powerful wind begins to blow and a flock of black birds gathers over head.  The flock lowers to the ground and forms into the body of a man, cloaked in a dark robe.  Only his glowing eyes are visible beneath the robe and he clutches a gnarled staff in his left hand.  Aruneko draws his bow and shoots at the figure, but the wind tosses the arrow aside, useless.  Zahtek holds up his arm and says, \"Don\'t shoot.  He\'s a friend.. or something..\"
\"There is powerful magic working against you,\" the figure speaks in a sinister, raspy voice, \"These walls already house the enemy from which you wish to flee. There is no escape now. You will fight, and all the good creatures of the night shall fight along side you.\"  As he speaks, the sun sinks below the horizon, only a slight light remains. As the darkness envelopes the world, the figure seems to grow in power and size.  The wind increases and the figure raises his hand slowly into the air.  As he does, all sorts of nocturnal creatures leap from where they had been hiding and surround the party, eyes glowing with an unnatural power.
\"These are your guardians.  They will fight with you to their death... or yours, but I will see to it that the numbers of demons slain far surpasses your own casualties, whatever the end be.\"  With that, the Ravenmaster crouches down and leaps a good thirty meters over the fort\'s walls.  The unnatural wind ceases with the Ravenmasters departure.  The screech of a dying demon is heard, immediately followed by the sounds of a feroucious brawl behind the walls. The second battle has begun.

Sorry to be posting twice in a row, but I wanted this message to be noticed.  Today is my last day of school, so I will no longer have constant internet access and nothing to do. In fact, I will for the most part not even have a computer around.  What I am saying is, I will be dissapearing now.  I may check every once in a while, but my once glorious, and probably record-breaking reign of average 11 posts a day is now over. It has been for a while actually, but I still have the highest around with almost 5 per day.  But that too is over. I shall now fall into the dust and shadows of ancient forums. I leave Zahtek to Trefalgr (until any time in which I shall return) and Dandor to Wormtail_(with the same disclaimer). Have fun guys. I\'m sorry to be leaving you; this story is actually pretty good.

Hasta luego, amigos mios.

How could you have a school? I\'m pretty sure you don\'t learn skills from other people in this game. Also, I doubt all the greatest magic users in the game are going to join your group. Who would you fight against with every mage by your side? It\'s a fine idea, but I don\'t think it\'s going to happen.

I think there surely must be some priests and historians who know about it, at least.  Probably most people know this stuff, although I\'m sure there are also those vagabonds who skipped out on school and religion and don\'t know squat (ie, those who didn\'t read the story line at planeshift.it)

Well, I\'m guessing PartyBoy hasn\'t played yet since he didn\'t bother to mention to you that the game isn\'t complete. It\'s very incomplete. It\'s kinda like when you have to right a 35 page paper and all you\'ve written is your name, the date, the title, and the class in the upper right hand corner. You probably came up with some crappy first line too, like, \"Some people wonder what sea anemones are, well I\'ll tell ya. Sea anemones are little thingies tha-\" (cut off right in the middle of a word, even). Ok, well it\'s not that not done, but it\'s pretty close. Man, I really hope english is your native language, \'cause I can\'t imagine trying to decipher what I just said if you don\'t speak english....

Hehe... I like the way you phrased your paragraph, so I\'ll help you.  As of right now, there is not much you can do in PS.  The game is not yet complete.  There is a store you can go to to spend your gems, but from what I\'ve heard everything is mad expensive.  (I haven\'t actually played in a couple months, so I can\'t tell you where that place is.)  If you want to be in a guild, go to the guild forum and read up on one that you like.  Speaking of reading up, when you have questions you should check the other posts instead of just making one of your own. There is a search feature too, so that could help if you have a specific problem you want to know about.

Hmm.... Although NPCs moving around would be nice, it would also cause unnecesary lag.  In Project Entropia they added a bunch of NPCs just for show to walk around in the big cities, but they don\'t really add to the atmosphere, just to the lag, and they get in the way, blocking doorways and walking into walls and the like.  Having NPCs who stand in one place all the time doesn\'t bother me that much.

Since you guys are all against things being realistic, I suppose you won\'t really care about this, but I\'ll telly ou anyway.  The amount you weigh really does make a difference with how much damage you take when you fall, despite what some of you may believe.  Although it is true that weighing more does not make you fall faster, P=mv (Momentum = mass x velocity) which means that a more massive character falling at the same speed as a less massive character will hit harder and therefore take more damage. Now, since there isn\'t really a stat for weight (or maybe there is and I just don\'t know) you can assume that a character with more hp is bigger and therefore weighs more. This means that the whole percentage system works fine.  The more massive you are, the more hp you have, and the more damage you take from falling.  Now, weight of things you are carrying will add to your weight and do extra raw damage to you.

Uhh... I just thought of something else.
I think it would be very interesting if you didn\'t always land on your feet.  A clumsy elf carrying twice his weight on his back jumps from the top of a building and lands on his back, taking massive amounts of damage and making himself look like a fool.  The higher your agility and athletics (or whatever), the higher chance of landing on your feet.  Have any of you ever played porasturvat?  It\'s a game where you push a guy down the stairs and try to get lots of points for doing lots of damage to him.  Well, that would be really awesome in an RPG, although not that practical.

I think the plot in .hack//sign was too slow moving, although it was good. Has anyone seen gto? I liked that. And Naruto is awesome. I started it one day and was on episode 29 by the end of the day. That\'s 15 hours of anime straight. I think if I was hypnotised I could speak Japanese.  Naruto isn\'t finished, though. It\'s on episode 32 now, I think, so if you watch that you\'ll have to wait a week for every new episode.  I haven\'t seen cowboy bebop, but I\'ve heard it\'s awesome. Dragon Ball Z.. sucks as far as anime is concerned.
