Title: Yliakum Holidays

A simple thread to see whatever winter traditions Yliakum and its inhabitants may have.

   Samno walked across the open market, sweet delicacies stood in a line in the bakers window.  Songs could be heard in the distance, and everyone seemed just a little happier. He hurried into his house, humming a simple tune to himself.

It has been quite some time since I read the settings for PlaneShift so please excuse my ignorance on this topic. Is there a winter in Yliakum? Is there snow? Does Yliakum have season changes? Meaning spring, summer, fall, and winter. Or does Yliakum have something similar to seasons but just not the seasons we have in real life?

I know it has months and seasons, perhaps not winter but there would be a cold season when the lake floods, and if it can rain it can snow.

Snowed last year was an odd day, couldn't see very far. I know that the GM's can make it snow it's part of the rain/fog commands.

WE HAVE WINTER! :P

now all we need is a holiday, any ideas?
