Miomai unfurls the parchment to look at the image again. "One, two, three!" She notices the pattern repeating horizontally, and it so happens that three is the highest number that she can count to comfortably. The innumerate fenki stares at the artwork for a long time, and something deep inside her reverberates with the shapes, though she is not yet conscious of it.
A few more moments and then her stomach growls. She rolls the parchment back up, tosses it into her sack 'o stuff, and bounds off in search of fish.
