Dwellers in the Death Realm
« on: September 29, 2017, 12:08:12 am »
Kra opens kras eyes with a start; blackness beyond at distances seeming paradoxically both infinitely far and palpably near.  The eerie, lambent illumination glowed on — or from? — mauve stonework beneath krad, pitted and wrinkled with a ghastly weathering which the kran would rather not consider at this time.  The bridge seemed to float before kras eyes.

Gedundk Kokro has been sitting for some uncountable time.  This distance from the Crystal deprived krad of some necessary energy, and kra tended to be drowsy here.
(Where is here, anyway?  Which way and how far to the Azure Sun?)

The airs of the blackness in the Death Realm had a peculiar sense of nearness to them — as though there was a cloth, hanging at the edge of reach, floating there.  Rather like the mists of a thick fog.  Kra began to wonder if the soft folk could smell anything down here.

Kra could feel a gust of wind flowing over kras vitalith, but the pages of a nearby book, opened some time ago, did not rustle at all.

OOC This occurs near the library — in the DR, obviously, — on that small ledge beside where the bridge meets with the outcrop there.  If anyone would be interested with participating here, or with meeting in the 3D version, you are welcome to join.  If there are no other participants, I may continue this sporadically.
Gedundk Kokro, kran
Ailela Belair, nolthrir
Hwokmar Cmar, ynnwn
