i still havent read how the pvp will work but i think that if it is area based, there should be pvp areas when you go far out into the ocean.  you should also be able to buy/build your own ship, then you can gather up a crew and rob other ships

well i dont think piracy would be a big thing because the ocean cant possibly be very big in ylakium. note your in a stalagtite and the water is at the very bottom. there only 3 tiers full of water and they are the smallest tiers. so there isnt much water. much like a small lake.
