Additional leather working possibilities

Once the leather working skill as implemented shakes out and is mature (hey, it's alpha like the rest of the game..) is there any possibility of adding additional craftable items? Some I think would be useful are:

Weapons parts, flail cords and whips. Jezzi has mentioned she would like a three tailed whip with spurs at the tips. :devil:

Fur and / or leather cloaks or coats. And of course belts to hold up the belt buckles with our guild logos.

Leather and wood light shields.

Ability for chars to craft sacks and glyph sacks.
   These would be easy items for novice leatherworkers to make and sell.

Leather upholstered furniture, a luxury item for the best guild houses.

I'm just tossing it out there for the long list of things that might be worth doing someday.

Those are some really great ideas  \\o//

Just a lil worried what would happen if Jezzi did get an in game item like a whip  ;D till then guess rping will have to pick up that slack lol

how about being able to add images to the leather goods you create? Something that would be added to the objects description, such as "This is a leather shield, on it is an engraved image of a ruqua tree."
The artisan could be able to select from a list of pre-approved settings appropriate images to add, to avoid things like, "This is a leather shield, on it is an engraved image of LAANX SUX LOLOL!!!111!", the higher the skill the more images or more elaborate intricate the images can be. Lower skills you can add basic shapes or simple designs and work your way up. And, since glyphs are just images through which cosmic energies are channeled, if you have a high level in a Way coupled with a high level in the craft skill, you can add glyphs to the object, imbuing it with that spell.

Whips already are designed into the game. They use knives and dagger skills. Of course Jezzi with a whip would be even more of a toon than she already is. ::)
