I think the players can need the game and not otherways.

im wrong? they play the game.. and to test it there are already enoguh ^^. :)

I know nearly every new MMORPG ;P i always look for new and know all sites where you can see RPGS and then i saw PS :)

I test every MMORPG and play some of them (daoc , Sb AO UO)

I would write the same like daoc.


thats something like that:



2% critical chance at the start. and some realm abilities where you can improve it.. armor class of the target. If iwizzard, you make more damage and you have more chance to hit critical.. and there is much more.. but PS need something own. They cant just steal idea from other game :) that would be a big problem ...

33% skill lose is stupid.


But 33% Skill lose wich you can gain back for crystals( or something else) is better.


That would instantly make it expensiver then higher you are.. if you have 500 you have to heal more and you pay more for each skill point.
If you pay every point 2 crystals or more (example value)

Something like after death sickness.

Here an idea:


After beeng killed:

Your money drops(Only if the Killer was not to high (see thread: wishes/limits in a good way))

You can loot your money later. Other pplz can do the same.

After dieing you have to /spawn .

You can change the spawn place using a random command (like /bindplace or /Spawnpoint) in every/ nearly every city/village.

Something like bank is needed for this idea.. You can store your money in there.. But becareful by taking out to buy somthing ;) someone can steal it or kill you and loot :)


edit: Maybe a list of killers in the last 2 hours, wich can be found in a police^^(guardhouse). Only if you have guard licens.
So if someone PK .. The guards can kill them without going in the same PK list :) and loot the Killer too.

The values and so on are only example values ...

I never give something how it have to be or so. i just give an idea with example values .. The proger have to think about the corect values ..

If they think thats good...



Question:

+25 are Skillpoints or % ?


The best way to clear the skill diference is to use %.

Because if you have 1000 str and someone have 975 .. thare is nearly no diference ..

if someone have 100 and 75 the diference is much biger between the player /monster


So its not rly always corect.

Example: you do 1000 damage and the other one 975 ..

100 and 75 damage . By using % values, it auto. change the diference between every color .. it becomes biger.

100 - 70 dam 1000 - 700 dam

If you would have 1000000 the -25 skillpoints would not make big diference ^^.

If you dont understand something ask.. my english is not the best ;)

I think every problem is easy to discribe using random %.

The volue of the % is just an example.


The diference between monsters and pplz are(normaly) lvls.

But in this game there are no lvls.

So the best way to see diference  is, to look at the skillpoints.

Standart chnce to make critical at the start of the game is, ~5%(example). This critical cant be much higher then the damage of the weapon. If your weapon makes 10-20 dmage, the critical cant be 1000 damage. +~50% (only example).

You have 5% chance to hit 15-30 critical damage with weapon wich makes 10-20 damage.

If a weapon needs 50 str. and you have 50 str. you have more chance to make critical.. maybe 6-8% ..  that only example..

If the target is much lower then u (lower skills. Exampel: you have total 100 skillpoints and your target only 50) You have then maybe + ~15% chance to make critical.

But it is not rly usefull to atack much lower  targets because they loot then not rly very good things for your skill. it is better to kill higher monsters the loot is more worth. (if you r so high)

Something like that would be good.

A good way would be:

Example:


You have totaly 100 skillpoints

and someone have 110. then he is orange(color on of his name) (10% higher)
if someone have 120 then he is red(name color)(20% higher)
if 130 then Black (30% higher)

if someone is black you lose anithing after you beeng killed,

90 skillpoints (-10%) green
80 SP. Gray (-20%)
70 sp. White (-30%)

Example:


You use axe wich makes 100-120 damage.
You need 50 Str.

If you have 40 str: (-20%)
You make 80-96 damage.

If you have 25 str: (-50%)

You make 50-60 damage.

if you have 5 str: (-100%)
You make 0-0 damage.

It means, your not able to make any damage with this weapon (you cant move it ;D)

The weapon bracke faster.
40 str 20%*5 .. the weapon bracke 100% faster

25 str. 50%*5 250% faster.

So if someone give a newbie huge weapon, he will be not able to make so much damage, and will not use it  a long time.

Everyone would test everything and would lose anithing.

I think there will be a lose of exp or constituation, wich you have to heal by a healer.... for money.

Maybe sickness time (lesser damage) 5-10 mins and optional is your money or things drop and you have to loot it.


In some games like DAoC you can /relese and apear at a *Bindplace/Bindstone* wich you can find in every city and use /bind to bind there.


That would be good but let us see.
