« on: August 07, 2010, 08:24:40 pm »Move the Planeshift game folder from the DMG file you downloaded into your applications folder. Then run the game from the applications folder. This tends to be the problem when you can't update due to lack of permissions.
Is that the entire PS folder? I can't find a DMG file.

As soon as I run the PS client, the game loads okay, then it freezes on the image for awhile. Once it gets to the login page, I'm hit with extreme lag and freezing. I can't click or type anything in because of the freezing. I tried changing the graphics and still no such luck.
I also am not able to update my PS game because it says I need to update on an admit account. However, my account IS the admin account. I don't know if failure to update is causing the problem or not, but any help regarding updating or at least getting past the login screen would be helpful.

Granted or negated Wishes / Buying Mounts

It would be nice if you could buy one mount per character. You could name the mount, and only the person who bought it could ride it. There could be different species, and if you decide you want a different species, you could sell your mount and buy a different one. When you log off, it might log off with you, to prevent spamming. Just an idea, but I think it'd be a nice one.

For me, I crash as soon as I reach the fortress. When I try getting back on with the character who crashed, I get on but I can't move or do anything at all until it crashes a few seconds after. I end up having to remake the chara.

I'm kind of angered by the fact that on the non-RP server there are never any gm's or advisors on. Me and my friends keep trying to do quests and have fun but we keep being bothered and trolled by the same group of people (a guild of people to be precise) and even though we keep trying to report them, there are never any advisors on the help channel. I think I'm rightfully annoyed. :/

« on: December 23, 2009, 06:40:15 pm »At level 0 you can only create the basic items (ingots), you will need to train to a higher level before you can make more complicated items (stocks). For specifics on the levels you should ask a player in game (as we can't give spoilers here).
That's just the thing though. I can't even make ingots. It won't let me. Unless I'm doing something wrong...

Not sure if this is a bug or what, but...
On my kran character I've been trying to create iron stock. I have ten molten iron, I've gotten metallurgy training (or so I think, it's still at 0 even though I bought a skill level from Harnquist) and I put the molten iron in a slot in the stock cast. I've done the quest and gotten the book from Harnquist that should teach me what I need to make stock and weapons and such. However, when I put the iron in the stock cast, it tells me I don't know what to do with the molten iron. I thought I wasn't trained enough so I attempt to buy another skill level (the bar is only partly green and I'm still a level 0) and it tells me I can't. Is this a bug or do I need to level up more before I can make a stock? I'm at a loss as to what to do.

Do mounts respawn in the same places over a period of time or do you just have to find them randomly?
