Aleasis Productions are proud to present their short story "The Crystal Eclipse".

Sisisa and Alecin stand at the Iron Temple looking up to the sky......

Alecin is worried, what can be happening?

Yliakum Film Board (YFB) rated G, suitable for all. Sensitive persons may experience mild fear.

Are you sitting comfortably, drinks and popcorn to hand?  Don't turn the lights out.

The trailer is here --->  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrj6D8cjPAg

The Movie is here -->  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVDOCvGqQ_Y

We hope you enjoy them.

[We are still playing around with stuff and experimenting, give us another 10 clips and they may get better ;)]

Quote from the first link on fantasy cliches:  "Fahfrd & The Gray Mouser by Fritz Leiber is a notable exception."

I recently read the 6 book series Swords and Sourcery about the above, it's dated but held my attention for... erm.. 6 books.

I agree that most fantasy games are stereotyped but that is why most people play them rather than sci-fi for example.  If the game moves too far away from the "norms" it risks being sidelined.  Ther are games that have other themes within this genre, e.g. Conquer Online is very Eastern rather than European.

Alecin gave me a few problems when I was gifted it by Talad.
However since most of my friends call me Ale then it's only right my name should be pronounced Ale-Sinn.

Alecin heads off home; his pouch jangling with the sound of a good days work.  His feet are hot and he is tired but he has a smile on his face.

Good event and the organisation was excellent.

I enjoyed it even though I went from +8 to -60 DP in the process. ;)

I'm looking forward to the next event.

Alecin and Mirey arrive at the Lake Lagrima de Kenusha. They look over the lake and kneel down to give Lady Kenusha her last honour.
Wiping her tears away Mirey starts to whisper: “My friend, I would have done everything to help you. You will be terribly missed. I hope you found your peace now.” Starting to cry again Mirey stops whispering.
Alecin takes Mireys hand as much for his comfort as hers, bowing his head he speaks softly, "Kenusha, my heart grieves that you should leave us in this manner, you had so much to offer this world.  You will be missed by many, I hope you can find the peace you deserve where you have gone"
Standing up Alecin raises a fist and shouts, "Your death shall not go unavenged, we vow that now"
Alecin and Mirey look out over the lake remembering their friend and then turn slowly away with a new purpose in their hearts.

Just to try to eliminate my problems here...

I've done the Dark Circle Ring quest... but have since deleted it from my list of completed quests.

Will it still be considered as a completed pre-requisite to the 2nd quest... or will it NOT?

If it will not... then I'm kinda stuck as I'm not even getting that first quest again any more.

(and was wondering whether the timed lock-out could interfere with the re-assigning of the first quest?)

[I had also deleted the first quest.  I had to compete with other CP's in order to obtain that quest again so it looks like it was on some timeout, but I cannot say if that was the winch quest one or whether someone else had just obtained the Dark Circle Ring quest, I did receive it eventually though.
I then obtained and lost the winch quest twice for various reasons, (timeout and some wierd game bug), before completing it on the third attempt.]

It looks good. :)  Can't wait for the server to be up.
Will existing characters be able to take advantage of new hairstyles?  (GM action)

That sounds like a graphics card problem.  Have you got the latest drivers?

What card have you got fitted?

I have played a lot of MMORPG's and in all of them once you get to a certain level you lose interest and then drift off into another game.

With PS the people matter as much, if not more, than the game mechanics. So with people being so important there is always something else happening to keep you interested.  Unlike other games I quite often find that i've been on a couple of hours enjoying myself and haven't even done any skill levelling at all.

In-Game Roleplay Events / Re: The Marriage of Mirey and Alecin Fenerie

Alecin and Mirey return from their honeymoon and smile happily at one another, they are very pleased at how well their wedding went and they had a wonderful honeymoon.

They collapse wearily onto their bed, they have heard rumours of new magical items and also the arrival of skilled trainers in combat and magic and will need all their strength for the days to come.

Later that day Alecin finishes writing thank you notes to all his and Mireys friends and gives his Groffle careful instructions.  He watches Polecat leave heavily laden with notes and returns happily to his new wife.

[OOC] Mirey and Alecin would like to thank all their friends for their help in preparing the wedding and also for taking the time to attend.  We were amazed at how many people either helped or showed up at the ceremony.   We know that those who did not attend would have done so if possible.

Special thanks must go to Asalya and Jeikei for their help in the ceremony and to Sajut for all the hard work he did in the background and for the screenshots below. :D (Sajut also produced some amazing artwork)  Thanks also to Durwyn for the video, hosted link below :D

We were particularly honoured to have Kaetlynn attend our wedding.  This was a great surprise to us and will not be forgotten.

Alecin consults the weather mage and has a worried look on his face. The mage recasts his stones and pours more of the blue glowing potion onto the crystal sphere.

He turns to Alecin and repeats, "The stones do not lie Sir, I forsee portents of terrible storms for the end of this week. It may not be possible to venture out of your home, never mind journey across this fair land."

Alecin checks one last time, "But what can cause such storms?"

The mage looks skywards, "Who can comment on the whims of the gods, Talad may cast his lightning bolts to disrupt our movements any time he wishes. Who knows what changes there may be to our fair land after this storm"

Time passes............................

Alecin hears the winds subside and looks outside.  He smiles broadly, the storm has passed.

Whistling happily he steps out to check and replace his notices.

Alecin and Mirey met when she joined their guild The Enlightened. They always have been good friends and one day Alecin saved
Mirey out of an unpleasent and awkward situation. This brought them even closer together.
After spending more and more wonderful time together their hearts and souls became closer and closer and on one special day at their special
place they became lovers.
Their love grew stronger and stronger and they realized that they had found the special person they wanted to share the rest of their life with.

Therefore they are happy and pleased to announce their wedding:

Alecin and Mirey are going to marry at the standing stones near the lake on the BD side of the green tunnel on the BD road.  Guests will be met and shown the way.  The ceremony will take place shortly after [3rd Feburary 20:00 GMT] once all the guests have arrived.

Mirey and Alecin extend their invitations to all their friends they have not yet managed to contact.
