In MineCraft, you kill the NPCs and take over their houses.

At least, I do.

Now i have a almost fully functional cart station under hydlaa but i wanted to show the mess

The thing is getting so big that it's very hard to get the city in 1 shot.

I bet you do even if it's not in the exact right place, that area wasn't easy but i got it as possibly close as i could manage with and taking into account that minecraft doesn't handle diagonal areas any good, so a diagonal house (45 degree) would look really bad.

Did you use world edit or anything for things like the mountain towards the Arena?

MCEdit only to change cobblestone to stone, the mountains themselfs i made with lava and water buckets.

First i made some straight lines then just pored lava over them.

If anyone want's to suggest improvments on the stuff that's been built so far then go ahead but i'd like to keep it as close to the orginal as possible.

It's whitelist enabled so i guess it's not totaly open

Probably the best way to be, honestly - some Minecraft servers get slaughtered by open enrollment

Sorry for the slow updates but i've tried to work more on the details instead of the whole thing and that takes longer, here are 2 new images
