While on patrol Lieutenant Biddle Harge was approached by a citizen, -name withheld- [Jilerel] reporting an assault near the Red Crystal Den. Lieutenant Harge arrested the suspect and escorted him to the jail. Several witnesses accompanied them -names withheld- accompanied them and gave their statements at that time.
Shortly thereafter, another witness -name withheld- [Evirea] with prior knowledge arrived to give testimony about the effects of the attack on the victim and provide additional knowledge about the suspect. According to this witness the suspect is using some form of old magic to take the life energies of his victims and feed it to some type of entity. Possibly delusional beliefs. Possible previous victims. Effects on current victim include rapid aging, weakness, loss of hair and teeth. Condition deteriorating, but under intensive care in an undisclosed location. Evidence Analysis
The expert mentioned in the second paragraph of the first report [Evirea] returned to examine a journal found in the possession of the suspect. Captain Sein, Lieutenant Harge, and myself were all present. The expert's findings were that the suspect was part of a long line of people who have been doing what was done to the primary victim for either decades or generation. Possibly a family tradition. The surname "Ruuka" was mentioned, but apparently they call themselves "The Faceless." Delusions of grandeur suspected. Energy stolen intended to free a soul/entity trapped in the Dark Crystal and eventually place it in a new body. Initial attack is primarily of the Dark Way, but evidently both Azure and Blue Ways also factor in. Journal returned to evidence.
