I have almost the same problem... First i didnt have any textures, i installed the ati drivers (using ubuntu) and i have character textures but still no ground textures... Any clue?

I don't really have problems with the npcs. They understand me, more or less. About the winch quest? I'll try it again in march

I've been told that there is a lockout for each quest that lasts from a few minutes up to a month. I'm going to try it again in march
