Keep Jirosh home
« on: February 14, 2012, 11:35:07 am »
Please, please keep Jirosh home!  As well as Mirra....
It's very difficult when trainers and major quest characters are missing for so long.

Thanks, Sanrai  :sorcerer:

  Please, please keep Jirosh home!

Or have him hire some help for when he is away.

 Some form of storage in Ojaveda 24/7 would be much appreciated.

I would suggest not having any NPC disappearing. Just having them running around is hassle enough. You now don't know if you just have to search for that NPC or it disappeared. A hassle actually. And getting especially annoying when you try to do some quests and they aren't there and you have to wait for hours to be able to continue with them.

Anyway back to the topic, Jirosh disappearing is really not good. Since he is the only storage NPC in Oja. It will only end in starting to store stuff in the guildhouse again, since you don't want to wait for the storage all the time.

I agree with Sadie. When there will no solution it could be happen that the guild houses in Ojaveda will be used as storage again.
There are flowers everywhere for those who want to see them.

I know some npc's do actually vanish but I was pretty sure Mirra doesn't. I hope this isn't counted as a spoiler but she isn't restricted to the west part of Hydlaa and I've occasionally seen her upstairs in Kada-el

I agree with this whole topic.

Having NPCs disappearing just makes Planeshift one step closer to being like FarmVille. Annoying, frustrating and pointless. I think that only guards should move around and that no NPCs should disappear.
You maybe roleplaying but you could still be OOC.

If the npc-s really disappear, I would fully agree. If they only walk away and can be found, it is fully ok to look for them. I don't know if disappearing is the correct term. Most of them can be found when "disappeared". Don't know if this is true for Jirosh. Once I met him in the middle of the night (at 2am or 3am) near the door of his shop. Joy :)

Good luck!
Glad to meet you :)

When Jirosh goes to sleep, his assistant ____ could run in and work the nightshift, the one by all the boxes, im drawing a blank on his name, but I would assume it to be his job to run the nightshift :)

I don't really mind the npc's going off some place to sleep or whatever, but it would be nice if we could still get things from storage when they're gone. If that guy in the warehouse area with all the boxes had to work all day there and then fill in for Jirosh at night too, maybe he'd have a reason for being all grumbly like he is....... but..... what I'd rather see is the storage not tied to whatever npc happens to be there, but instead to some nearby object, like a box or door or something we can click on to access?

And another  :offtopic:  thing that bugs me is why can't the farm girl stuck out in the middle of nowhere on Oja road at least have a stand or something like Grok? She should have a farm with kikiri and some guhjahs milling around at least. The models are all made, no reason not to have something there.

Ive never seen a goujah o.O
and dannae, the release of new mobs is probably the same as it was in 4.03, back then, they had models for riverlings, and i believe tlokes and vilenauts, and coamti, but they didnt release any of them intill 5.0
I assume it will be similler this time around, with them all being released at once, at the 6.0 mark, or some new 5.X update.
But otherwise, I agree :)
[edit] They also have had the model for kormi since 4.03, but they are 'still' not released, I would love to be able to hunt deer, and bring venison to the villagers. I'd reccomend an AI where they run away from people.
