Talad says: I've seen a new set of quests and the new boss getting prepared
Talad says: actually the internal testing is done

Talad says: Venalan was planning today, but then we didn't cross our paths

Gag says: My question is related to rumours I heard about new weapons. Is it correct that a crossbow will be available?
Emaline says: It is now.
Uadjet says: There's one droppable now.
Emaline says: You can go out and loot that right now if you wanted to.
Gag says: I believe it was introdiced with an event
Uadjet says: We can't spoil who drops it, but it's out there.
Gag says: Alright, thank you
Emaline says: Yes it was orginally. But it is now lootable as well.
Talad says: this week there have been some improvements/fixes to the internal tools we use to develop the NPCs and the items
Talad says: done by ravna
Talad says: always good to have those improved, as those work directly on the database and means this will be applicable as well to PS Unreal
Talad says: as the database remains identical
Talad says: every content added is anyway compatible with Unreal Engine
Talad says: like the nre quests and bosses
Talad says: the area we are working on in UE are the dialogues
Gag says: But I hope they are not the reason that I lost my house door lock?!
Talad says: allowing Unreal characters to use PS NPC dialogues
Talad says: can't wait to see some Unreal char answer to us
Emaline says: No, that's another issue Gag, what they are doing is not live. I'll poke Venalan about your guildhouse again.
Talad says: everything in Unreal is developed separately
Talad says: and has no connection with the current PS data
Gag says: Makes sense...
Talad says: but we can just copy the data over to UE and it will be used
Talad says: including all your progress and stats
Talad says: any other questions from your side?

Mohonin says: is the fighting in unreal would be like continously clicking till the fight ends or just like present PS fighting style?
Talad says: we plan to have the first version exactly like current PS
Talad says: then considering the additional capabilities of UE we may decide to start improving it
Talad says: I'm not a fan of repeated clicking unless there is some skills/options involved
Talad says: which one would you prefer?
Mohonin says: I'm with you sir
Gag says: I believe the introduction of attack sequences enables a choice between both solutions...
Talad says: I think the combat queue with special moves is interesting
Mohonin says: yes it is
Gag says: That I mean...

Talad says: I think it's a good compromise between auto-fight and continuous clicking
Talad says: so you decide only the attacks that matters
Talad says: even if something like parry at the right time can make things more realistic and interactive
Talad says: maybe the parry we could have
Talad says: what are the features you would like to see with the new engine?

Mohonin says: no new features are comming to the mind now, i guess ,we would try UE then we can say about new features
Gag says: Do you already schedule efforts to re-animate characters wit the new engine and - probably - new character models?
Talad says: we have imported some of the current models
Talad says: like dermorian female
Talad says: and it works well
Uadjet says: I think swimming and flying will be much easier to do with the new engine.
Talad says: including animations
Talad says: there is a very powerful tool to blend animations
Talad says: making transitions smoother
Talad says: for example the walk/run
Talad says: depending on speed those are merging better than in PS
Gag says: Ylians still walk quite stiff here, they are surely woth attention...
Damola definately would like swimming and diving
Talad says: this raw effect will not be there anymore
Talad says: much smoother
Damola says: Would be perfect fit for a Nolthrir
Talad says: we could redo nearly all art
Talad says: but at the moment is not a priority

Talad says: feels good to reuse what we have
Talad says: like "hey I want to make a new game, but I have no art...."

Ravynne says: are we going to be able to craft these crossbows
Emaline says: You can loot them for now, crafting I'm not sure if that's on an agenda right now.
