Welcome back! :flowers:

Depending on what time you tend to get on, I suggest volunteer Izzabella for your OOC game help. She's really nice!
....
@Izzabella: Yes, I'm allowed to volunteer you for things. ;D

HAHA You are so funny!!
But she is right! If I'm online feel free to shoot me a tell I'm more than happy to help or answer some questions! Or you can even send me a PM here if you keep missing me online. A year a go I was in your shoes, came back as well so I understand the confusion, give it some time and you will be shocked how much seems to come back to you!
Thanks a bunch! I'll definitely keep an eye out for you in game.  :D

Thanks :D! I don't know exactly how memorable I was, but my main character Xanther joined Warrior guild shortly after the war with PoC when Sanxx, Grizz, and Koios where still pretty active. By all respects I was mid level, but I really enjoyed every RP event I came across. I miss the Tourneys, are those still a thing?

General Discussion / It's been a long time.

Hello everyone,

I've been gone for a long time, since the stat cap was closer to 200 than 400. After some nostalgic browsing through the forums and updates I decided to log in and take a look around. Honestly I'm a little lost, It's like starting from square one. If anyone who plays currently is feeling charitable, I'd really appreciate an OOC heads up on training/mining locations.

Thanks,
Xzanther

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Problem Logging in.
« on: September 30, 2013, 10:48:35 am »
Hello all,

It's been a few years since I last visited Yliakum and I got nostalgic, so I downloaded the game again and tried to log in but the server tells me my account information is wrong. I used the same information in the game as I did in the forums, and as you can see I had no trouble getting here. I tried reset my password, and tried again but that failed to work. If any one can offer a heads up that would be awesome.

Thanks, Xzanther.

General Discussion / Re: Grinding and Roleplay

I've always built my role playing around my characters stats, why role play a fight when your character is adept in certain skills? The two should Co-Exist, putting that work into a character would make RP more rewarding wouldn't it? >o)

General Discussion / Re: NPC voiceovers!

Are there any scripts some where? There are a lot of things non player characters say only once when it comes to quests, and I'm sure you do not want to be patching voice recordings from different people together.

Just curious, but are you guys looking for musicians to help with the instrument skill as well? Or is that priority farther down the check list. :)

PvP,PK and Thieving / Re: Body counts in war

Maybe... but that means the way between the PoC and the Warriors would have been over in that first day. The amount of people who died was ridiculous. I Suppose a clearer way of defining "winners" and "losers" is needed.

But Im  afraid that your idea would mean that any future wars would end up being "NO! you cant join in because your not maxed, you will die too easily and waste our re-spawns" and then you wont have the insanely fun mayhem of 100+ people trying to kill each other in the confines of the little woods near to Levrus' shop.

Haha I suppose your right, but there dose need to be some sort of regulation. Just going until one guild is tired of slaughtering another is not making the war concept of PS fun.

I guess before war is declared the leader of each guild should get to gather and decide a kill limit. So that each team has input, and there is a limit on who can kill who for example a player with all caped stats and level 100 sword can not just walk up and own a low level player. That way guilds are forced to keep a diverse range of players to combat there enemy's at all levels.
