What about building/architecting you'r own guildhouse? It would be interesting, wouldn't it?
Adding secret rooms, sleeping quarters, main quarters... etc...

I don't know if that would be possible, but I think it's a great idea, nontheless... Lots of guilds would love to be able to design their own layout, and many are already RPing their guildhouse as having a layout different than the actual layout...

And that internal layout has to be uploaded to the server that every visitor will get the same map ... but maps are usually client-side so far.

Well, PlaneShift/CrystalSpace is not Sauerbraten; cooperative editing - as simple as it may be handled - was surely not planned from the beginning, therefore may be hard to add afterwards.

One day in the far far off future PS probably will have a mini-game in which you get a square room and you have all sorts of different items like stairs, walls, etc. Kinda like The Sims. then you go off and buy the furniture to place in it. Nice idea though!
