                                                ---Goals---
Are goals are to be ourselves but to help others while we are doing that. We will serve Talad whenever he needs us, in times of thriving, and dying, we'll be there. Just because we worship the god, Talad, doesn't mean we will run around killing everyone that serve's dakkru. We are a guild mostly of honest fighters and paladins that like to have a beer here and there and have some fun whenever we can. We wish to help Yliakum thrive more then its already. We will serve laws UNLESS its puts someone in danger.Everyonce in a while you will see about 10 of us in the arena killing trepors or Tufasangs, we go on killing spree's everytime a lot of us is around. We like hanging out with anyone and everyone that respects us, we like to have a good time and everyonce and a while play a little prank on the guards. Hey, cant always be good right?

We try to follow his example of love and patience, we are genirous with are skills and goods towards those who are in need. We perform acts of sevice's in community. We're patient, knowing that are trials and temporary. Talad welcomes all who feel the call to serve him, as well as the Brotherhood, regardless of their race. We have worship practices one day a week for a good amount of time showing that we love Talad. Seems he calls us to worship instead of us just going and worshipping him. Which we have no problem with, we actually like the fact that he calls us.

Are number one rule is Respect everyone that RESPECTS US

Never back down a duel unless its in a city

Have a beer once a while and hang out, just chill out

Never kill anyone in a fight UNLESS they have hurt you or your family

If you commit a crime, tell a guard and get your punishment over with

Never duel in any cities no matter what. Take it outside the walls

Dont disrespect a guard or anyone else

Always be loyal to eachother

Help your peers

Have a good time

Listen to your leaders

Initiate

Templar apprentice- A newcomer to the guild

Base ranks

Rising templar- A older but still new templar wishing to grow stronger

Journeyman- A man/women older to the guild that know's his/her ropes fairly well but not mastered

Guardsmen- The guard(s) of the guild willing to protect the guild with their life

Cleric of Talad- Are healer and teacher of the guild that has seen the other block of the neighborhood

Guard captain- Captain of the guard, sends the guard on duties to help the guild

Leaders

Elder- A guild member that know's his/her ropes like the back of his/her hand and is willing to devote to the guild

High elder- The leader's 2nd in command, his help in fights and helper in guild matters

Templars leader- T'would be me, Hanace, I try my best to make the guild thrive and make Yliakum a better place the best i can!

Colour overload.....Does this guild have any real objectives besides "helping"? Besides the name, I see no connection to Talad in the aims. In comparison to Pandilla, well done. In comparison to most other guilds...not so well done. You can still improve your guild. Try to give it a purpose. A reason why it exists. Helping sounds newbie standard, not roleplay standard

Alright, thanks for the advice, i'll work on it a bit more. Yes this guild has other goals besides helping noob's. We serve talad whenever he needs us. We would do anything he needed. We are still working on the goals though, you shall see some changes soon.

  .....for some reason i felt the need to clarify Our forum is http://eliteknights.foromotion.net/ the eliteknights part is because we use to be the Elite Knights but we changed our name a few times  it was Elite Knight then Templars of Talad and now Brotherhood of Talad...and i think it will stay that way

How do you explain the renaming IC?

hmm...im not to good at the IC stuff ....The first name change was i believe because a GM told hanace the elite part of the name sounded like we were excluding people and then Han changed it to Templars of Talad and so im not sure how to put that IC...i'll let han take that one.  After that it was changed to Brotherhood of Talad because we let the panda people...erm...i mean pandilla people merge with us because i guess they were haveing some problems.  But IC I guess I'd say that Talad has shown us that everyone cant be a Templar/knight/warrior some are crafters and cooks so it should be a Brotherhood              sorry im not sure if what im trying to say is makeing any sense or helpful in any way

It's a nice, promising beginning but I do spot some inconsistencies in your thread:

Might want to fix those and avoid confusing people. Then maybe one other suggestion, mention something in your goals about actually worshipping Talad. For example regular gatherings/masses,  required daily prayers, an altar, anything to add more religion to the guild would be nice. Talad is about helping people and getting along but he's still a god so he likes worship.

well don't think that is really a contradiction. You never back down on a duel but take it outside becuase that is the rule of the city. Time and place for everything

but to be honest I am not sure why you would never back out of a duel. I mean you are a brotherhood with crafters so why would they agree to duel a bullying mercenary guard who is obviously relying on his better fighting skills to bully people.

I think he means that declining a challenge is bad roleplay, you can't just parry the blow of an attacker by clicking the "no" button on the challenge.  so i guess declining to fight in an arranged duel is acceptable, but refusing to be attacked is not.
