SERVER DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE (September 13, 2007)

Hi, our ISP informed us today that they had to disconnect the planeshift server for urgent maintenance  needed on the data center. They said the server will be restored as soon as possible, within 1 day from now.

Sorry for the inconvenience. In the meantime I suggest you to think to the background of your character, write down a short story on him/her so you will roleplay it when the server is back.  :)

After a bug made me disqualify from a tournament on my birth day, I think this will be the next worse day in my life because of PS (well not directly PS, but) today I had organized my marriage party, and now it seems everything ruined...

Lest we forget, our beloved server space on which we play PlaneShift is donated, free, out of the goodness of fragnetics hearts. I've seen quite a few posts complaining about downtime, but lets be honest here, how often is the server down due to problems with Fragnetics? It's pretty rare.

Personally I'm pretty darn grateful that we have such a generous and stable provider, and that it's free should perhaps make us realise just how lucky we are.

It'll be up and running as soon as Fragnetics can manage i'm sure.
