Fragnetics server unreachable - April 03, 2009

The game says fragnetics failed, and.... *gulp* Laanx.fragnetics.com won't load.....  :o

Tell me it is coming back.... soon

Ah yeah, the devs love the soon word, but, please be more specific, for a guy that is gonna die in a week, 2 weeks might as well be 10 years. (not that I am dyeing in a week... I hope...)

A dev friend of mine (shall remain anonymous) told me that the recent server volatility could (he was hinting, I am sure) be due to a possible upcoming update.

If that's not true, I'm willing to pretend it's dev propaganda to keep us happy, and willing to pretend its true, to keep my own sanity :)

interesting dev there as that isn't the reason... i'd change friend in case :)

from past experience it seems something went wrong with the machine or the nat setup. Altough it's not sure 100% yet it's most probably something which could require 1 or 2 days. I hope it's not the case and it's something more simple.

haha one or two days? you mean weeks right? as i know when ps machine is down thats the normal... i have played for 2 years so i have seen this hapen a few times anyways lets hope the machines is just mad at us and that we can all just suck up to it insted of complaining how bad the server is and arguing over weather or not a difrent machine would be better or what os is better and just say "we love you lanxx" and hope it will boot back up here ill even go first

Well, last time it failed, even the devs were compeltly in the dark about it, and when it was fixed, they still didn't know what happened, so I've said it before and i'll say it the again, the server sucks, there are way better free ones, and Fragnetics support for planeshift is non-existent. I just don't know why people back it up so much. Not the devs fault, but this server is utter garbage, I'm surprised the devs can even get it to work period.

If you don't care for it, then you are free to try to play on the other server, or play a different game.  No one is forcing you to stay on the Fragnetics donated server.
