The current status of http://laanx.fragnetics.com/ is: server down. It has been down for over 7 hours.  

Don't know about http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=34607.0 (http://planeshift.ezpcusa.com/ says "Total Online: 0" last time I looked there)

If you feel you need comfort (like I did), you can chat with others, eg:

What, really? Fragnetics still does not have 24/7 monitoring staff?
I mean, I don't expect a fix at the dead of night, but to the very least, there should be a way to remotely reboot the machine, a way to monitor the boot-time messages from BIOS and operating system, and if all fails, a staff member you can ask to take a look.
Well, that's the minimum I'm getting here in Germany. Regardless of how much I pay; even if I paid nothing at all it would be that way.

In Germany there is the same downtime if you pay no money. I live here, too. Don't talk rubbish.
If you know a good provider to place the server for no money and a 24 hour service ond so on.... just tell the GMs. But you will have no luck to find such a hoster. Not if they cannot place spam into the game.

So just be patient...

No they don't afaik.
Usually remote reboot functionality is provided when your server is running in a virtual machine, then software like HyperVM can be used for the reboot.
As we're not in that situation someone has to manually deal with it (I'm not aware whether it's a network, hardware or software issue currently).

Rumor says that the power supplys is broken, if thats true it's quite difficult to remotely reboot the machine If it's hardware, the staff on location have to fetch new hardware and change it. If unlucky the hardware is not in stock and we need to wait looong time...

What do you mean? The server went down yesterday, so the chat quotes are from yesterday. We can not quote from next Thursday (yet   )

weltall is right, I wasn't serious when I said that line. I was actually referring to http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=33501.0 where several pages were about what problem laanx had without anyone having an information. And since laanx still replies on ping I thought my example was unrealistic enough
