Icerra watched Miomai watch the camp and the surrounding land for hours, like a skeletal ghost she haunted the clamod, always behind her, downwind, out of sight.

After Miomai's message was posted, Icerra snuck up on the board to read it. She opens a small watertight pouch, a prepared tefusang bladder and dips three fingers on her left hand in. With dark black grease paint she writes this reply across the entire board.

"Couldn't do it corpse? Told you we's workin' fer the same cause. GIVE ME THE AXE. I'LL KILL HER. ~Thorn"

Miomai returns to the tree after another few hours of quiet observation. She sees the message obviously left by her nemesis and tears  down her note, muttering a few curses and something about lost fingers. The clamod balls up the parchment and directs enough Red Way to cause it to combust. The fenki walks off in disgust.

"I'm looking for a few good men, and I've heard here's a good place to start. Judgin' by the surroundings and what have you, I expect I'll hear back in good time. Ask for Lurch at the taverns, and we can get acquainted."
